What do you guys think net fishing is? Yup you guessed it right this fishing required massive nets with many people work as one team. Back in the older days communities used to gather to feed the villages around Guam. The Net was about 20 feet long and 8 feet in width with weights on the bottom. The technique of this was to trap schools of fish when they were feeding. But this was also a process that took hours of preparation, before feeding the net would be set and during feeding local gather to close in the fish to a smaller bay.
After catching hundreds of pounds of fish the only way to go is sharing with everyone that put in work and for their families. After trapping the fish many locals would sit back and teach the younger generations how this fishing was done. This was also cultural and traditional based the local word is called Talaya. Have you ever done any fishing like this ?
